Summery warmth in southern Southeast and northwest British Columbia. Klawock, Alaska (Prince of Wales Island) reported 82F but that could be an instrument malfunction. Above normal temperatures extended northwestward through the Yukon Territory and into eastern Interior Alaska. Rainy and chilly in most of Southcentral. Common for this time of year temperature gradient across the Bering Strait, with subfreezing temperatures continuing in Chukotka moderating to the 30s and lower 40s on the Alaska side of the Strait.
